Garth and Karen Handke, farmers near the hamlet of Waldron, Sk, began Highway 9 Ag Services with a single semi and set of super-b grain trailers. Business grew for the Handke's and by the year 2000, the fleet had already grown to include 3 semis.

Momentum has continued over the years as more and more skilled and dedicated

owner-operators have joined our team.

Fast-forward to 2023 and Highway 9 Ag Services is very honored to have a permanent spot in the bulk transportation industry alongside many of our great competitors. Garth and Karen have had the chance to step back from the front-lines to focus on sales and support, with daughter Samantha Handke running the office. We are now up to 17 owner-operators / drivers and are very grateful and appreciative for all our amazing team-members who have helped continue our success, and for the many amazing companies and producers we work for.
